About the role:

The Executive Director, Taskforce and Insights provides leadership and oversight to ensure the department's savings and efficiency initiatives are delivered with the highest quality, coordination, and accountability. This role is critical in ensuring that all savings and efficiency efforts meet intended financial and operational goals. The Executive Director will lead the Insights and Analytics team to develop and implement technical solutions to analyse efficiency and expenditure/cost data and develop and maintain a suite of interactive dashboards to support effective communication of financial insights

About you:

To be successful in this role you are required to have the following

Qualifications:

An appropriate tertiary qualification in health, economics, business management, political science, public administration or public policy.

Specialist Expertise:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead high priority and complex initiatives, and to ensure successful delivery of initiatives, particularly through utilising influence and coordination levels that require a cross-department collaborative effort.
  • A deep understanding of both the health sector and state government processes and policies, including cabinet processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the delivery ofeffective and efficient core departmental functions, including across multiple portfolios or agencies.
  • Has led or made a significant contribution to major cultural change initiatives and driving continuous improvement within a large and complex organisation.
