Sales Representative – Materials (External Cladding & Plastering) – Laverton North, VIC (Full‑time)

Australia External Cladding is seeking a motivated sales professional to promote and sell our high‑quality cladding and plastering materials to small builders, developers and trade contractors across Victoria.

What you'll do

  • Identify and develop new business with local builders and subcontractors, presenting our product range and value‑added solutions.

  • Prepare quotations and proposals, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and margins.

  • Manage a pipeline of leads, follow up on enquiries and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets.

  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting opportunities and risks.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and on‑site meetings, building strong relationships with key decision‑makers.

  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in sales within the construction, building‑materials or related trades sector, preferably with external cladding or plastering products.

  • A solid network of contacts among small builders, developers and trade contractors.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.

  • Self‑driven, target‑oriented and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Commerce, Marketing, Construction Management) are desirable but not essential.
