About You

As a Science Coordinator (2 Point), you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The Science Coordinator position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. Applicants must have :

• expertise in Stages 4-6 Science
• capacity to design and implement curriculum programs that improve outcomes for students of all abilities
• an understanding and commitment to explicit teaching principles
• the ability to drive academic improvement and results through evidence-based practice
• proven leadership skills with the capacity to mentor, support and inspire staff
• highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and families
• commitment to ongoing professional learning and formation
• strong classroom management & student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation.
