The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to become part of a stable, well-coordinated care environment for a long-term client with high physical support needs and a supportive family.

As a support worker with Montessori Care, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, in-home support to a NDIS participant with high physical care needs. This role involves a combination of personal care, emotional support, and domestic assistance, with a focus on maintaining the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of the client.

This is a high-needs role supporting an individual with complex neurological and physical disabilities. The participant is non-verbal and requires full assistance with daily living, as well as skilled behaviour support.

What We're Looking For:

  • Female support worker (client preference) with at least 2+ years of experience in disability or behavioural support
  • Experience with clients with Cerebral Palsy and Global Developmental Delay is highly regarded
  • Experience in PEG feeding, medicinal administration, wheelchair bound and non-verbal clients is essential
  • Ability to support client in swimming and showering is a plus
  • Must have NSW Driver's Licence and own vehicle with insurance
  • Essential checks: NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, Police Check, First Aid & CPR
  • Manual Handling and Behaviour Support training highly regarded
