HVAC Service and Defects Estimator

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity to welcome a Service and Defect Estimator to join our NSW Service team. This is a rare career progression opportunity to directly apply trade knowledge and technical experience to this role.

This role will work with closely with our existing Service Estimating team to play a key role in the conversion of field-based defects and converting to service-based quotes which will be submitted to clients efficiently to meet our contractual requirements.

Although majority of the works relate to air conditioning systems repairs, there will also be quote submission requirements for refrigeration and electrical systems.

This role is not projects or engineering and is strictly service and defects based estimating only.

Key tasks include:

• Review of Technician field defects to convert to a formal quotes in a timely manner.
• Managing the pipeline of quotes through regular client interaction to confirm status.
• Liaising with Subcontractors and Technicians on development of quotations.
• Meeting internal and client deadlines.
• Ability to follow the defect to quote end to end process.

What you will need to be successful in this role

• Air Conditioning, Refrigeration or Electrical trade field experience is preferred.
• Technical knowledge to ensure quotes can be submitted to clients accurately.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow process and structure to meet KPI's and deadlines.
• Ability to adapt and work in a team environment.
• Evidence of National Police Check and Working With Childrens Clearence.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• Have a "Can Do"  attitude and proactive approach with clients and the team.

You may be required to participate in audiometric testing within the first 3 months of your employment to allow Precise to record a baseline measure. The testing may be repeated every two years thereafter. Testing will be paid for by the Company and the results will not impact the hiring process or the terms of employment.
