Legal Secretary

A long-established and respected law firm on the Northern Beaches is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join their growing family law team. With over 80 years of service to the local community, the firm is known for its supportive environment and commitment to client care.

This full-time role is ideal for a motivated and capable legal support professional who thrives in a busy legal environment. You will work closely with an experienced family law solicitor on a broad range of matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce proceedings, and family provision claims.

• Drafting and preparing court documents, correspondence, and briefs to counsel
• Managing client files and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
• Assisting with matter preparation, legal research, and compiling trial bundles
• Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, and external stakeholders
• Providing general administrative support, including diary and email management

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a legal secretary or paralegal in family law (desirable)
• Solid understanding of family law procedures and court processes
• Excellent attention to detail and document accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using LEAP Legal Software (highly desirable)
• Ability to manage competing deadlines independently
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach
