Premium/Credit Officer

We are currently seeking a Premiums/Credit Officer with strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills to manage a portfolio of clients in relation to Workers Compensation Insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised professional with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and compliance frameworks.

As a key member of our team, you will ensure the accurate processing of premiums, maintain policy compliance, debt collection and provide outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a client portfolio to ensure accurate and timely premium calculations and payments
• Ensure policy targets and audit compliance service standards are consistently met
• Process new business applications in line with WorkSafe guidelines
• Respond promptly to internal and external queries, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• Maintain accurate data entry and ensure legislative compliance at all times
• Attend and participate in ongoing training on relevant legislation and systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for process enhancement
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
• Adhere to occupational health and safety (OHS), privacy, and record-keeping requirements

Experience and Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of Workers Compensation Insurance policy and legislation
• Knowledge of premium calculation processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience using WorkSafe systems such as ACCtion and VPCS (preferred)
