Steel Fixer

Job Summary

Provide the knowledge, experience and competency to undertake steel fixing tasks in a safe and timely manner on residential & commercial projects.

What you'll bring to the table

• At least 1 year of steel-fixing experience
• Honesty, reliability and demonstrate sound work ethics
• Calm and controlled nature with the ability to deal with challenges without flaring up
• Good fitness with a high level of personal presentation and no medical issues.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install reinforcement steel following instruction from the leading hand.
• Construct reinforced Slabs, Walls, Columns, Lift Shafts, stairs etc.
• Follow safety rules, regulations, procedures and take responsibility to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Responsible to take care of all company gear and equipment
• Responsible for any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and abilities

• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Accuracy/Quality – High attention to detail.
• Time Management – the ability to plan, work to deadlines and multitask.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team when required

You Must Have

• White Card
• Own Full PPE
• Steel Nips, Tire Wire Wheel, Measuring Tape
• Drivers License & reliable transport.
• Pass a drug & alcohol testing as well as full medical

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
