Steel Fixer

**Job Summary**
Provide the knowledge, experience and competency to undertake steel fixing tasks in a safe and timely manner on residential & commercial projects.

**What you’ll bring to the table**
- At least 1 year of steel-fixing experience
- Honesty, reliability and demonstrate sound work ethics
- Calm and controlled nature with the ability to deal with challenges without flaring up
- Good fitness with a high level of personal presentation and no medical issues.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Install reinforcement steel following instruction from the leading hand.
- Construct reinforced Slabs, Walls, Columns, Lift Shafts, stairs etc.
- Follow safety rules, regulations, procedures and take responsibility to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Responsible to take care of all company gear and equipment
- Responsible for any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

**Knowledge, Skills and abilities**
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Accuracy/Quality - High attention to detail.
- Time Management - the ability to plan, work to deadlines and multitask.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team when required

**You Must Have**
- White Card
- Own Full PPE
- Steel Nips, Tire Wire Wheel, Measuring Tape
- Drivers License & reliable transport.
- Pass a drug & alcohol testing as well as full medical

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
