We're currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our Mackay team to support a participant with complex care needs under the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working consistent daily shifts.

About the role

You'll support the participant with:

  • Bowel and catheter care
  • Hoisting and manual handling
  • Wound care
  • Daily living routines and personal hygiene
  • Emotional wellbeing and independence
  • Maintaining a safe, supportive home environment

Roster & Hours

  • Morning shift: 11:00am – 1:30pm (daily)
  • Evening shift: 6:00pm – 8:00pm (daily)
  • Up to 37 hours per week available

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or complex care
  • NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
  • WWCC (Blue Card)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Experience with bowel care, catheter care, hoisting, and wound care
