- Work in a team dedicated to helping people make positive changes to their lives
- Lead, manage and develop a team of Court Assessment and Prosecutions Officers
- Full time, fixed term position to September 2026
About us
At Community Correctional Services (CCS), we work every day to reduce reoffending and support safer communities. Through evidence-based case management and rehabilitation, we help individuals address the underlying causes of their offending and create meaningful change in their lives.
We manage people on community-based court orders, post-sentence supervision, and parole. Our focus is on providing the structure, accountability, and support needed for successful reintegration into the community.
As the Supervisor, Court Assessment and Prosecutions, you'll lead a small, dedicated team delivering services to the Frankston, Moorabbin and Dromana Courts and other justice stakeholders. You'll oversee the daily operations of the Court Assessment & Prosecutions Service (CAPS), ensuring resources are used effectively, workloads are balanced, and reporting is accurate and timely. You'll also provide expert advice and guidance to staff and stakeholders on court processes and sentencing matters.
This role is primarily based in Frankston, with some travel required across the region as needed. It is a full-time, fixed-term position until 26 September
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience applying best-practice case management and needs assessment in a human services setting
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and support a high-performing team
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle competing priorities
- An understanding of court processes and sentencing principles (desirable)
- Qualifications in social work, human services, criminal justice or criminology (desirable)
