About the role

The Sales & Warehouse Operator (Gyprock) roleis a Full-time position, based at Launceston, TAS. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

In this role you will:

• Responsible for providing a holistic customer service approach from taking enquiries to fulfilling orders across a range of products
• Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Support warehouse and distribution operations
• Assist in loading customer vehicles
• Schedule deliveries
• Ensure stock accuracy by undertaking daily inventory counts
• Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.

Your hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm.

• An eagerness to learn about products and services.
• Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Must be confident and well-presented when dealing with customers.
• Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Forklift licence is desirable or willing to obtain one.
