Overview

Sales & Warehouse Operator (Gyprock) – Launceston, TAS. Full-time position based at Launceston, TAS. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join the Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and achieving operational excellence within the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a holistic customer service approach from taking enquiries to fulfilling orders across a range of products
  • Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Support warehouse and distribution operations
  • Assist in loading customer vehicles
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Ensure stock accuracy by undertaking daily inventory counts
  • Contribute to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets

Your hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm.

  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers
  • Eagerness to learn about products and services
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Confident and well-presented when dealing with customers
  • Experience in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines
  • Forklift licence is desirable or willingness to obtain one
