The Role

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Secondary Teacher of History to join the Middle School (Years 7–10) at our Keilor East campus.

There are two opportunities available:

  • A full-time ongoing position, commencing in January 2026, and
  • A fixed-term replacement position for the 2026 school year.

The School

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 3000 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. We have outstanding staff, facilities and programmes to enhance student wellbeing and learning and develop creative, caring and critical thinkers.

The School provides a diamond education, with a co-educational Kindergarten programme, single-sex education at the Junior Schools and Middle Schools from Years 7 to 10 and co-education at the Larkin Centre (Years 11 to 12).

PEGS promotes the safety, wellbeing and participation of all students, including supporting children from culturally diverse backgrounds and those with individual needs.
