About the role

We are seeking experienced wait staff and cake and pastry attendants to join our team at Via Dolce', a vibrant cafe in the heart of Canberra, ACT. This is a casual role with flexible hours, perfect for those seeking work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and delivering food and drinks in a timely manner
  2. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including restocking and cleaning of service areas
  3. Assisting with the preparation and presentation of cakes, pastries, and other bakery items
  4. Handling cash and processing payments
  5. Following all health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar wait staff or customer service role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service
  3. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  4. Basic food preparation and handling skills
  5. Flexible and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment
