Orthodontic Dental Assistant

At Frankston Orthodontics, we are committed to providing oustanding patient care with the highest quality in treatment, in our modern specialist practice.

We are currently looking for an part-time Dental Assistant to become part of our team. Whether you're currently working in the orthodontic industry or wanting step into the specialist dental field full on the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to provide support and high quality chair-side assistance to the Orthodontist and clinicians.
  • Enhance the overall patient experience via collaberation with the clinical team.
  • Help maintain a smooth and efficient running of the clinic
  • Maintain a high level of infection control standards
  • Maintaining and updating patient records
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional patient care
  • Good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be motivated and show initiative
  • Computer competency
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Respectful, dependable and a team player
  • Familiarity with orthodontic appliances welcome not necessary.
