Vets Central is on a mission to become Australia's leading veterinary partner, dedicated to supporting high-quality veterinary care across the country. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Human Resources Advisor (Fixed Term Contract) to join our awesome (even if we do say so ourselves) support office team in Bundall

As the HR Advisor, you'll be the go-to support for our People Leaders, providing advice and coaching across all people-related matters. You'll play a key role in onboarding new team members as clinics join the Vets Central network, while also leading WHS reporting and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice to leaders and team members, aligned with the Vets Central People Strategy and employment legislation.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, offering coaching and guidance on performance and general HR matters.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Manage the onboarding process for new team members joining through clinic acquisitions.
  • Oversee WHS incident reporting, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs.
  • Prepare and submit monthly HR and WHS reports.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous HR experience, ideally within a multi-site environment.
  • Solid understanding of industrial and employee relations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
