Pump Mechanic & Fitter

Blue Hire is an supplier of specialised pumping & systems to the mining, civil, heavy industrial & marine sectors throughout Western Australia.

To keep up with current workload, we require additional hands-on technician's to work in the south west

The Role

  • Operation of diesel powered pumps
  • Maintenance and repairs on industrial diesel driven pumpset's
  • Mechanical Seal replacement as required
  • Bearing and frame rebuilding
  • Maintain and repair company associated equipment
  • Complete maintenance records and relevant documentation
  • Ensure a Safe working environment at all times.
  • Work to standards set by our Industrial Clients
  • General maintenance tasks as required
  • Your choice of workload and hours
  • Well serviced workshop
  • Company supplied work vehicle
  • Day shift

The Candidate

  • Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Mechanic with Pump experience
  • Ability to think outside the box to come up with specialty solutions to client problems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team autonomously
  • Practical, hands on with a "Can Do" attitude
  • Excellent attitude to safety & procedures
  • Will be required to provide a National Police Certificate
  • Pass all relevant Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Current C class license and be able to attend site
