
Procurement and Logistics Manager – Rural Retail

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our rural retail team. In this key position, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of goods and services that support our agricultural operations.
You'll manage procurement activities from tendering through to supplier performance, while coordinating logistics operations to keep our agricultural supply chain running smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic sourcing with hands-on operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement and logistics plans for agricultural operations.
- Manage tenders, quotations, and supplier contracts to ensure value for money.
- Oversee inventory control, transportation, and storage of goods and materials.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
- Analyse market trends to support informed purchasing decisions and cost savings.
- Prepare reports on procurement performance, supplier management, and logistics efficiency.

- Experience in procurement and logistics—ideally within the agricultural or primary industries sector.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to compliance and ethical sourcing.
