We're Ray's Sandwich Deli – a crew of passionate coffee professionals and outsanding Italian style sandwich makers . Apart from amazing sandwich, we serve great coffee in the local community.

We are looking for a casual Barista to join our Hawthorn team. Working about 20-30 hours per week with the availability to work on Saturday and Sunday, plus a day or two on weekdays is a must.

What's the role?

  • Serving up consistently amazing coffee
  • Delivering warm, welcoming service that keeps people coming back
  • Sharing your coffee knowledge with customers (or learning from others)
  • Helping out with day-to-day café stuff – from opening to closing
  • Being part of a friendly, tight-knit team where no one is above any task

About you:

  • You will have at least one year experience. Past experience with specialty coffee is preferable.
  • A passion for coffee and customer service
  • You're upbeat and genuinely love working with people
  • Reliable
