We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Inspector who's all about safety, quality, and making a real impact. If you've got experience in civil construction or utilities, this could be your next big move into a rewarding career in energy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Get out in the field and lead inspections of gas distribution networks-making sure everything's built to last and up to standard.
- Put your detective hat on to assess installations across homes, businesses, sub-divisions and industrial sites, ensuring they tick all the regulatory boxes.
- Be a safety champion-run site audits, spot risks before they happen and make sure teams are working smart and safe.
- Team up and troubleshoot with contractors and internal crews, offering expert advice and clever solutions when challenges pop up.
- Keep things accountable by issuing corrective action reports and following up to make sure rectification works are completed on time.
- Shape what's next by sharing your insights and ideas with our Technical Services team to help improve how we do things.
What You'll Bring
We're seeking someone who prioritises safety and thrives in team orientated environment. Ideally, you'll bring:
- 3+ years in civil construction or utilities (required)
- Certificate III in Gas Operations or ATCO Common Trench qualification (highly desirable)
- G Class Gas-fitting Licence (highly desirable)
- Solid IT skills and confidence using web-based inspection tools
- Strong understanding of gas or utility regulations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
