Chelgrave Contracting is currently looking for C10 and C8 maintenance fitters across all industries.

About the role:
  • Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machines
  • Effectively carry out preventative maintenance, identify, solve and remedy breakdown issues
  • Maintain production plant
  • Work with operations team to communicate and provide detail of machine status
About you:
  • Trade Certification in Mechanical fitting
  • Post trade qualification will be highly regarded
  • Minimum 3 years' post trade experience.
  • Sound break down and planned maintenance fitting knowledge
  • Previous experience in manufacturing is well regarded
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing strategies and initiatives
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively with good reporting skills
  • Excellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices
  • A keen interest in advanced technologies
