The Opportunity

  • You will work with limited supervision, referring up as necessary, on works associated with Civil Design.
  • You will undertake design and technical consultation in areas such as roads and earthworks, stormwater including WSUD, flood risk management, pavements and utilities;
  • Your work will involve preparing civil designs on small and medium sized projects, as well as being responsible for specific elements of large projects. This will include client liaison, design, technical documentation, reporting, and tender submissions;
  • In achieving this you will be responsible for scheduling work to meet deadlines, monitoring budgets and resourcing and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area;

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies (including Chartered Status from the Institution of Engineers Australia)
