Join Arup, a global leader in civil and structural engineering consulting, as a Senior Maritime Engineer within our Regional Maritime team. In this key role, you'll leverage your extensive maritime engineering experience to enhance our portfolio and drive innovative solutions for diverse projects.
The Opportunity
• Lead technical design of maritime structures and port planning for various maritime engineering projects.
• Manage complex multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring resource planning and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage and develop bids, contributing to broader work-winning and business development activities
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Offer responsive maritime technical advice to clients.
• Represent Arup in internal and external meetings, showcasing our expertise.

Is this role right for you?
• Minimum 8 years of experience in port planning, maritime structures design/assessment and coastal engineering, with a strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards and PIANC guidelines
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams and developing junior talent.
• Proven ability to foster strong client relationships and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Chartered status with Engineers Australia or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
