We are looking for an enthusiasticperson with experience in the automotive industry (automotive qualifications desired but not a requirement) to join our great team in the role of Service Advisor.

This full-time position involves being one of the first points of contact with clients. Aswell, as liaising with clients with quoting, invoicing and bookings, purchasing and liaising with the workshop manager.

The successful candidate needs to have an honest, friendly, positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a superior level of service is provided that achieves or exceeds customer expectations by ensuring that all work is performed in the most efficient manner through continually seeking better methods.
  • To actively answer the telephone. Greet customers and assist with sales and quotes.
  • Book jobs in for the Workshop and manage the diary in line with resourcing levels.
  • To input all work orders into the computer system and produce Job Cards and Invoices
  • To maintain inventory records and ensure that all goods purchased in or used from stock for specific customer work is invoiced and reconciled.
  • To accept payments from customers, follow up outstanding accounts and monies payable to the business in a timely manner.

Experience

  • Automotive qualification (desired)
  • 2+ years' experience in the Automotive industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of office practices and customer service
  • Preparedness to learn and develop business and personal skills and competencies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
