Verve Partners are proud to be working with a reputable and successful commercial construction team, with operations across NSW.

Due to a healthy project pipeline, we are now looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team based in Newcastle. 

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, your primary objective will be to lead the contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring effective contract management, risk mitigation, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in negotiating and managing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, contributing to the overall success of the organisation. 

The Successful Candidate

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior contracts management role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing contracts for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Expertise in risk management, contract compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and legal professionals.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a contracts team.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, legal principles, and commercial terms.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies or associations.
