About the role

Normist Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Storesperson – Industrial Supplies to join our team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory at Alice Bolt Supplies Tool Store. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of our industrial supplies inventory, ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of industrial supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and quality
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to meet deadlines
  • Undertake regular stock takes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the warehouse storage areas
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in a storesperson or warehouse operative role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good numeracy and computer skills, with experience using inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Forklift license and experience operating materials handling equipment are essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's licence is essential.
  • Must have legal right to work in Australia as a full time employee.
