Mortgage Lending Specialist

Liverpool | Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Lending Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a motivated professional who thrives on helping clients achieve their property goals through expert lending advice.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assess and process mortgage loan applications

Provide tailored lending solutions to meet client needs

Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and partners

Manage loan documentation and ensure timely settlement

Assist with scenarios for the loan writers and staff

Work with loan writers to assist with knowledge and understanding of tax returns and financials

Understand and work with loans in SMSF Lending (residential and commercial)

Understand and work with Commercial Loan scenarios and applications

Understand and have knowledge of asset finance, personal lending and car finance

Be able to take a lead from initial enquiry to application

Prepare for and do client interviews for loan scenarios

Be able to liaise with lenders credit underwriters to mitigate loan queries and get loans approved with information provided.

About You

Proven experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or broking

Must have minimum Cert 4 in Mortgage Broking, Diploma of Mortgage Lending would be an advantage

Strong knowledge of lending products and financial services

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

High attention to detail and organisational ability

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have knowledge of reading and understanding tax returns and financials

Must have computer skills and be proficient in using software tools and portals such as Quickli.  Lo Doc or Alt Doc Lending experience will be well regarded.

Must have knowledge and experience in using lenders servicing calculators

Underwriting or Credit Assessor experience will be well regarded
