We're seeking a dynamic ICT Infrastructure and Security Manager to join our ICT Operations leadership team. This role is central to shaping the future of Council's technology environment, ensuring our systems remain secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. You'll lead a team of specialists across infrastructure, cloud, network, and cyber security, driving performance and continuous improvement.
Your leadership will guide the development and operation of critical IT systems, including communication networks, data centers and cloud platforms. You'll also oversee governance, risk, and compliance strategies, manage key supplier relationships, and champion the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and operational resilience.
Success in this role depends on your ability to foster collaboration, inspire high-performing teams, and contribute to strategic planning and policy development. You'll play a key role in building a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer focus across the ICT function.

About you
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced IT leader to drive innovation, improvement, and high-performance outcomes across our technology landscape. This pivotal role will lead a team of skilled IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
You'll be responsible for guiding infrastructure and cyber security functions, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable technology platforms. Your exceptional people and relationship skills will enable you to inspire and motivate teams, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and contribute to a positive, service-oriented workplace culture.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of IT services and make a lasting impact through strategic leadership and innovation.
You will have a degree in computer science, information systems, business management or other relevant field, or suitable relevant experience. These relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CRISC) highly regarded but not essential.
