Valhalla Tactical is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our Darwin store in Yarrawonga, NT. As a proudly veteran-owned business, we specialize in providing elite tactical gear designed for military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts. Position: Retail Sales Assistant Store Manager

Location: 1 Calvin St, Yarrawonga NT 0830

Store Hours: Monday–Friday: 10am–6pm | Saturday: 9am–4pm | Sunday: 10am–3pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, providing expert advice on tactical gear and apparel.
  • Assist customers in selecting products tailored to their specific needs.
  • Maintain store presentation, ensuring products are well-organized and displays are appealing.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Interest or background in military, law enforcement, or outdoor activities is highly regarded.
  • Someone seeking to grow into the role of Store Manager within 1.5 years.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be available to work the Christmas Period over December Jan 2026.
