About the role

You will be responsible for leading development, design and implementation of new or modified software products and ongoing business projects for Standards Australia. Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Development Managers to ensure software projects meet expectations.

What you'll do

  • Act as Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert to ensure solutions delivered are in line with business and technical requirements
  • Function as an Application Architect for solutions developed
  • Provide mentoring and leadership in development practices and principles
  • Research, design, develop and maintain web-based solutions using various technologies – React, .net (core and framework), SQL
  • Develop, code and document back end and integration layer modules using .net and .net core
  • Extensive experience in Web API, layered architecture, MVC and ASP.NET and .net core
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Integrate data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
  • Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing modifications
  • Document the application specifications and translate technical requirements into application code
  • Enforce the application of agile and prototype based SDLC for systems development
  • Sound understanding in working with agile development methodology
  • Lead code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to architectural specifications
  • Work with Graphic Designers to translate prototypes into good website design
  • Conduct Unit Testing and work with Testers to address issues
  • Provide guidance to junior developers in relation to architecture, design and the use of best practices
  • Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts, and selected vendors
About you
  • 8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise level SaaS applications
  • Strong web development skills in React, C#, ASP.Net, .net Core
  • Experience with Azure Cloud (open to experience with AWS or Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of API Security Best Practices
  • UI and web design capabilities using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience in SQL Server or other relational databases
  • A strong full stack development background with enterprise level experience
  • The capacity to design and create usable interfaces encompassing both SaaS and mobile devices with responsive design techniques
  • Experience with Git, BitBucket, NPM and CI/CD using Jenkins
  • Have previously implemented CI / CD pipelines
  • Experience in Mulesoft - Advantageous
