Senior Full Stack Developer with React & TypeScript - SYDNEY

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React for the frontend and TypeScript for backend development. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems, while delivering high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.
  • Build and optimise backend systems and APIs using TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure performance, security, and scalability in both frontend and backend layers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services seamlessly into applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong React (frontend) and TypeScript (backend) skills.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and modern frontend tooling.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, and server-side applications.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
Desirable
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
