About the role
AVI Protection Group (NSW M/L: is seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer's to join our team in Port Macquarie, with our increased and expected growth in this region we are increasing our team to contuine to deliver our excptional service.
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel. This is a casual position, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular patrols and inspections of the assigned premises to identify and respond to any security breaches or hazards
- Monitoring and operating security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control
- Documenting and reporting any incidents, accidents, or security concerns in a timely and accurate manner
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors, responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
- Assisting with other duties as required to support the overall security operations
What we're looking for
- A current Security license or the ability to obtain one (NSW 1A).
- Previous experience in a security (Highly Desirable)
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for details
- A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work, with the ability to undertake shiftwork as required
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients
- Ability to work without direct supervison
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Current drivers license (P2 minimum)
- Current First Aid
