Job Summary:

We are seeking a punctual, reliable, and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and strong attention to detail. This role involves operating a company truck to transport goods between various locations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

The driver will be responsible for loading and offloading using an automatic pallet jack mover, as well as hand unloading at certain drop-off points when required. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial truck for scheduled deliveries and pickups
  • Maintain punctuality and reliability for all routes
  • Use an automatic pallet jack mover for efficient loading and unloading
  • Perform manual unloading at designated locations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating a commercial truck (preferred)
  • Ability to safely handle physical tasks, including manual unloading
  • Strong reliability, professionalism, and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks or warehouse equipment is an asset

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $26.02 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
