About the role

Maximum Altitude Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable MR Truck Driver to join our team in Pooraka at the DHL site . This is a casual position with hours that typically range from 35-45 hours per week. We will also consider drivers that may only want to work 3-4 days per week on a flexible roster .

The position is driving in a 2 man team truck delivering pallets and hand unloading around the Adelaide metro area.

Typically the hours of work are 7am -3pm.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating and maintaining medium rigid trucks to transport goods across metropolitan and regional areas
  • Adhering to all relevant road rules and transportation regulations
  • Ensuring thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections are completed
  • Maintaining accurate trip logs and other documentation
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

  • Hold a valid MR class driver's license with a good driving history and must have a minimum of 6 demerit points available.
  • Applicants must be well presented, fit and in good health.
  • Applicants must be able to present a clean Crime check report when requested.
  • Applicants must have full working rights
  • Have experience operating medium rigid trucks
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
