Capital Transport is the largest, privately-owned courier and taxi truck business. We are similar to Uber but deliver goods, not people, and our customers aren't the general public but rather businesses that need their products moved from one place to another.

Job Description

Due to growth we are seeking an Operations Officer to join our Team. This is a full-time, office based permanent position which requires

  • high level of attention to detail
  • excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team environment.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • build sustainable relationships with both external customers and sub-contractors
  • main liaison between driver, operations team and client using state of the art PDA and Desktop messaging system
  • handle all matters pertaining to client and sub-contractors within the pre-determined timeframes
  • prepare and distribute client reports/administration set by the Department Manager
  • Complete the after-hour's handover communicating any fatigue management risks, where required
