Access Mining is an underground mining contractor delivering more than just ore. Our next project in Western Australia, is an underground gold mining operation with an initial 8-year mine life.

About the Role:

The Truck Operator is responsible for maximising the productivity of truck haulage operations, and supporting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating haulage, backfilling, and dumping operations. The Truck Operator checks, maintains and operates their equipment to deliver high standards and levels of productivity.

About You:

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience operating Bell 45E (or similar) articulated dump trucks
  • Experience in haulage activities including surface and underground dumping, backfilling and hauling loaded down declines
  • Previous experience operating Integrated Tool Carriers (desirable)
  • Commitment to ensure that work areas are safe for personnel and equipment during and after haulage activities
  • Proven experience working with other Truck Operators and Bogger Operators to optimise productivity and quality work
  • Skilled in liaising with Maintenance peers to report mechanical issues to achieve required plant availability and optimise productivity levels
  • Previous experience assisting Service Crew and Jumbo Operators (desirable)
  • Proficient in training other team members in all aspects of the Truck Operator role
  • Uphold high safety standards and a commitment to our Zero Harm culture

You will hold the following qualifications and licences:

  • Current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence
  • Valid WA Security Clearance (desirable)
