Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and reliable Barista to join our busy team.

If you take pride in preparing specialty coffee, consistency, speed and clean execution behind the machine, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll be working on our La Marzocco PB Linea, using a PUQ Press, weighing and timing shots, adjusting the grinder throughout the day, and maintaining excellent workflow and cleanliness on bar.

This role also includes supporting the team across general bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dial-in, weigh and time shots; adjust grinder as needed
  • Produce consistent, high-quality espresso and milk
  • Keep the coffee station clean, organised and running smoothly
  • Daily machine cleaning and back-flush routines
  • Sandwich preparation and basic food-handling tasks
  • Cash handling & cash counting at end of shift
  • General bakery cleaning during and after service

What We're Looking For

  • Full weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday required)
  • Own transport & valid driver's licence
  • 2+ years barista experience in a specialty-coffee setting
  • Confident operating La Marzocco machines and similar equipment
  • Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and presentation
  • A friendly, reliable team player who thrives under pressure
  • Fluent English is required
  • Australian work rights are required for this position

Hours & Location

  • 20–30 hours per week
  • Located at Patrick's Bakery, Regents Park QLD
  • Early starts required
  • Shifts commence between 5:00-6:00 AM
  • On site parking
