Senior Integration Architect

Shape the Future of Integration in a Landmark AWS-Driven Transformation Are you a visionary Integration Architect with deep expertise in AWS-native services and enterprise integration patterns? Join us to lead the design and delivery of a cloud-first System of Integration (SOI) platform that will power a major transformation initiative and enable scalable, secure, and future-ready capabilities across the enterprise.

About the Role As the Senior Integration Architect, you'll be at the helm of modernising the organisation's integration landscape, which will be anchored in AWS technologies and aligned with strategic objectives. You'll define architecture, principles, and patterns that support robust, secure, and scalable solutions and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, government standards, and security frameworks.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the integration backbone of a high-impact program, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver lasting business value through cloud-native innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead enterprise-wide integration solutions across complex, distributed systems.

  • Design current- and future-state integration architectures, frameworks, and blueprints with a strong AWS focus.
  • Ensure alignment with the Enterprise Solution Concept (ESC) and Integration Architecture Framework.
  • Drive integration across domains including API Services, Event-Driven Architectures, Messaging, DevSecOps, and Data Integration.
  • Define and document interface contracts, SLIs/SLOs, and secure design decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and cloud providers to ensure seamless delivery and operational readiness.
  • Champion AWS-native integration best practices and contribute to strategic technology planning.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience designing and delivering integration architectures in complex, multi-system environments.

  • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS-native services including:
  • AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, AppFlow, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, event-driven design, and secure architecture principles.
  • Experience leading integration in large-scale transformation programs, ideally in cloud-first environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent architecture framework knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Bonus: Experience with D365, Salesforce, or other SaaS platforms.
  • Prior experience in government or public sector environments is a strong advantage.
