Due to recent growth in the region, we are now looking for a proactive and driven Legal Counsel to join the STH team and support their operations across Australia and New Zealand.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head of Legal (ANZ), you will provide important legal support across a broad range of commercial matters. Your work will help ensure robust legal frameworks, efficient contract management, and risk mitigation, supporting STH's strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
  • Managing contract execution and maintaining accurate legal records.
  • Advising on legal and compliance issues affecting the ANZ business.
  • Assisting with legal operations, process improvement, and policy development.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide practical, solution-focused legal advice.

About You

  • Qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate in Australia or New Zealand.
  • 2–4 years' commercial legal experience, ideally in-house or within a top/mid-tier firm.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
  • Exposure to a variety of legal tasks and an eagerness to develop further in diverse areas of law.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • A passion for sport, travel and events would be beneficial but is not essential.
