About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Grade 4 Physiotherapist to join the Western Health at Home team. The Western Health at Home programs provide patient-centred services focused on hospital-level care in the community. This senior role offers the chance to combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, education, and service development across the bread of programs offered by the division.

Key responsibilities:

You will provide expert physiotherapy input as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring evidence-based, safe, and effective care that supports patients to recover at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admission. In addition to maintaining a clinical caseload, this role will lead, mentor, and develop physiotherapy staff, contribute to student education, and drive quality improvement, innovation, and research within the Western Health at Home services.

• Have extensive clinical experience in relevant clinical field, preferably with experience working in community
• Demonstrate leadership and supervision skills across multidisciplinary environments
• Have a proven ability to deliver high quality evidence-based care in line with Western Health values and Live Best Care Framework
• Contribute and engage in collaborative multidisciplinary quality improvement and research across programs
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster teamwork and collaboration
• Show a commitment to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women's prison located in Ravenhall.
