We are seeking a motivated and reliable person to join our Team part-time as an Administrative Assistant at our head office in Karana Downs
About us:
Sustainable Pty Ltd is a small Design & Construction company with over 40 years' experience in delivering award-winning, design-led sustainable homes across Brisbane, the Darling and Southern Downs and broader south-east Queensland.
About the Role:
- General day-to-day duties include:
- Answering phones
- Sending / responding to emails (shared inbox management)
- Assisting team members with administrative duties
- CEO personal assistance (e.g., schedule meetings, etc.)
- Assist in preparing and formatting documents, generating reports and updating spreadsheets
- Filing and archiving
- Manage office supplies and orders
- General cleaning and other ad hoc administrative duties, as required
Role Requirements:
- No experience required, though prior experience in a similar role will be looked upon favourably
- Be available to work normal business hours and a minimum of 24-hours per week
- Must have a driver's license and your own reliable vehicle / transport (*Please note, there is no public transport near us)
- Someone with a friendly and positive outlook, an organised and self-motivated disposition and a focused willingness to learn and contribute within a small team environment
Role Qualities and Learning Outcomes we are looking for:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised business administration skills with attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and related software / technology
- Capable of working unsupervised and within a small team environment
- Capacity to handle pressure and work to deadlines
- Reliable and passionate commitment to assist and help grow the business
