What's the role on offer?

We're looking for a full-time Assistant Accountant to support our Finance team by applying sound accounting principles to generate accurate financial reports and assist in data analysis. In this dynamic role, you'll help ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements while maintaining the highest safety, security, and procedural standards.

As part of our Finance team at Alliance Airlines, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of accurate financial reports and reconciliations across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Processing and posting data to ledgers, managing complex invoicing, and supporting both Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal reporting deadlines and resolving discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Supporting audits and assisting with the implementation of new finance systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and building strong relationships to deliver quality financial outcomes.
  • Promoting and maintaining a high standard of safety, security, and compliance in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

You're a motivated and detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for numbers and a drive to grow in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. You bring 1–2 years of accounting experience, are progressing through your CPA or CA qualification, and have a keen eye for accuracy. With strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a flexible approach to work, you're ready to take the next step in your finance career—ideally in the exciting world of aviation

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and currently undertaking CPA or CA studies.
  • 1–2 years' experience in a professional accounting role, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
  • Aviation industry knowledge and familiarity with TechnologyOne financial systems are highly regarded.
