Detailer SeaLink Marine and Tourism, K'gari

About the Role

Our Tours and Marine workshop division-based Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari are looking for a superstar experienced Detailer with a keen knack for maintaining our unique fleet vehicles in a clean, tidy and presentable condition. You will be part of a great team who take pride in providing our guests an amazing K'gari exploring experience in well-presented, comfortable and safe vehicles.

This will be a permanent part-time opportunity with the requirement to role stay overnight at Kingfisher Bay Resort staff accommodation during allocated shifts, over a rotating roster of 7 days per fortnight (stay on the island 5 nights per fortnight). Our ideal candidate would live local to Hevery Bay with flexibility to stay overnight on island.

Key Role Requirements

• Provide full cleaning and detailing services to a rotating fleet of buses and a range of different vehicles, including interior clean and vacuum and clean engines, engine components and underbody.
• Handle minor repairs and apply touch up finishes to remove scratches
• Actively follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices consistent with legislative requirements and regulations.
• Operate heavy vehicles, including buses and water truck as required.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience working in auto detailing, minimum 1 year preferred
• Demonstrated ability to engage in physical work for extended periods of time
• minimum QLD MR drivers' licence is required, or willingness to obtain for the role
• Paint restoration experience required
