THE ROLE

• Adhere to all safety and environmental considerations and company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a proactive safety culture within the team, and have a strong commitment to safe working practices.
• Extract and transport of Historic core from coreyards.
• Prepare core for processing, cutting and sampling.
• Support geological staff with PXRF, SG, Mag Sus work.
• Dispatch samples in a timely manner and liaise with laboratory.
• Quality control of DD core, correction of errors in core presentation and block spacing, meter marking of core, core cutting and core photography.
• Report any issues with vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Guide new Field Assistants.
• Conduct general housekeeping within all work areas.
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholder.

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current "C" Class Western Australian driver's licence (essential)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Advanced 4WD Training (desirable)
• Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
• Perform basic maintenance of field equipment.
• Proficient in all sampling procedures and sample dispatch protocols, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Skilled in surveying protocols.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• A can-do, team-oriented attitude.
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
