The Opportunity

This is a strategic opportunity for a Senior Associate in Perth to align with a nationally regarded construction disputes team. With significant work flowing from public infrastructure and large-scale transport projects, this role offers access to matters beyond the typical scale or nature of the WA market.

The role will be embedded within a team known for their high-value project portfolios, servicing complex construction litigation, arbitration and regulatory advisory matters — from defect claims to contractor disputes and security of payment injunctions. They capture significant disputes across road and rail developments, ports, LNG infrastructure and government facilities, many of which involve state and federal government stakeholders.

You'll have direct access to multiple highly regarded and recognised partners sitting interstate, who manage a pipeline of nationally significant disputes. A front-end Partner sits in the Perth office, allowing for continuity and collaboration locally.

The firm maintains an independent national structure with strong integration between offices. You'll benefit from access to national project teams and a firm-wide commitment to professional growth including target incentives.

About You

  • 5+ years' PQE in construction litigation or broader commercial disputes with infrastructure/projects exposure
  • Demonstrated experience in arbitration, dispute resolution or major project litigation
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions
  • A commercial, team-oriented approach suited to complex national work
