A great opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced General Manager to be a key part of the future success of the high-volume food, beverage, function, gaming, and entertainment venue, that is located in the heart of the Bundaberg overlooking the Burnett River and part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef tourist region.

The club facilities include a stylish restaurant, vibrant bars, a modern gaming lounge, and versatile function spaces perfect for celebrations and corporate events. As a proud community hub, the club actively supports, veterans' services, local charities and community initiatives, reinvesting back into Bundaberg to make a positive difference.

The General Manager will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the licensed venue and will be employed by the management company, receiving support covering HR, marketing, operations, administration and strategic planning.

The ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with all stakeholder groups
  • Ability to develop, motivate and manage a successful team
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Proven experience in driving revenue with effective sales and marketing whilst maintaining KPIs
  • Sound knowledge of food, beverage, functions, gaming operations, marketing, loyalty activities and legislative requirements
  • Management experience in comparable sized hospitality operations, in particular licensed clubs and hotels with gaming operations
  • Hold relevant gaming and liquor licensing certificates
