Position description

We have a permanent full-time position available for a Structural Engineer to join the team at our office in Brisbane, Queensland.

The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate work experience as a structural engineer to be considered for this role.

The position involves undertaking design, documentation and site supervision for a broad range of projects including residential, commercial and industrial sites.  An applied knowledge of design using a variety of building materials and products including steel, concrete, timber, masonry and aluminium is essential.

Applying structural engineering concepts in design packages such as Spacegass, SLB, RC Building confidently is a prerequisite to be successful in this role.  The applicant would also be capable with Autocad.

We are seeking a lateral thinker with strong communication skills that demonstrates an ability to develop economical and practical design solutions. Depending on the project size, either capable of working as part of a team or autonomously to undertake design elements from roof down to foundations.

While not essential, applicants actively working towards or holding RPEQ qualification is desirable.

Attractive remuneration commensurate with level of experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
