Crop Scouts

Multiple Crop Scout positions are available at Internode Agronomy for the 2025/26 Summer season. Internode Agronomy is a successful independent agronomic consultancy based in Dalby, servicing the wider Western Downs.

About the role

Casual employment over summer from approximately November to end of February. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain experience in both cotton and broadacre cropping.

Duties include:

• Data collection and reporting of key pests in cotton and various other broadacre crops
• Measuring and recording crop growth and key development attributes
• Soil and plant sampling

Potential for role to evolve into a permanent position as a Graduate Agronomist for the right candidate.

About You

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Current driver's licence

· An interest in agriculture and/or studying an agricultural degree

· Enjoy working outdoors

· Ability to work autonomously

· Self-motivated and communicates clearly
