**About the role**
Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to launch your agronomy career in both cotton and broadacre cropping? Internode Agronomy is offering a chance for a Graduate Agronomist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our experienced agronomists to deliver high-quality agronomic services to our clients. You’ll be provided a chance to develop your professional skills through hands-on experience, training events and the opportunity to contribute to the agronomy team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in providing quality agronomic advice to our clients, including crop (including cotton) and fallow management, farming systems and nutrition
- Crop scouting for potential pests and key crop physiology attributes
- Farm trials implementation and analysis
- Participate in crop planning and reporting
- Sample collection and scientific analysis
- Assistance in Precision Ag implementation
- Attending training events to build and develop agronomic knowledge
Location is based in Dalby, Qld.

**About You**
This position will be suited to someone who:
- Is graduating or has completed a degree in Ag Science or related field
- Has a willingness to learn quickly in the role
- Has a passion for agriculture and an interest in agronomy
- Has sound problem solving skills and a proficiency to work independently
- Enjoys working outdoors
- Has the ability to create and maintain relationships
- Is self-motivated and has the ability to communicate effectively
- Has a current driver’s licence
- Is an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
